EXPERIENCE BONFIRE NIGHT

The 5th of November. The night of fireworks, excitement, and beautiful views. Guy Fawkes Night in Edinburgh never ceases to amaze tourists, whether they are visiting from other parts of Scotland  or a different country.

If you are just thrilled to be spending Bonfire Night in Edinburgh, don’t worry it will not disappoint you. Whether youare travelling with your children, spouse, or friends, we recommend watching the fireworks from the viewpoints of Edinburgh Castle, Calton Hill, or if you don’t mind a bit of hiking, the top of Arthur’s Seat.

However, be prepared, it does tend to get chilly at night, so it is best to bring a couple of blankets, and a flask of hot (or alcoholic) drinks to keep you warm.

ENJOY THE CHRISTMAS MARKET

On the 15th of November, the magic of Edinburgh Christmas Markets breaks to the surface. Pop your skates on and visit the doughnut-shaped ice rink on George Street, see the handmade products at the market stalls, have some mulled wine on Princes Street, and, if you are brave enough, try the breath-taking (don’t worry, not literally) rides.Whatever you decide, your visit will be nothing less but magical.

Whether you choose to do one or all of these activities, or maybe you have your own plans set in stone, The Bruntsfield Hotel awaits you with its cosy, elegant, beautiful rooms.
